Vele Kaiulo is a governance, finance and business professional with nearly 20 years of experience supporting boards, executives, investors and business owners across financial services, capital markets, family businesses, charities and entrepreneurial ventures.
His career has been built within international professional services firms, leading assurance engagements involving listed companies, regulated financial institutions, private equity structures, real estate investment funds, fiduciary businesses and private wealth organisations. His portfolio has included investment structures with assets under management exceeding EUR 6 billion, providing oversight of governance, financial reporting, valuation, risk management and internal control frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
Beyond client engagements, Vele served as Head of Audit Training & Resourcing, leading workforce planning, technical development and cross border resource management, including the negotiation of offshore service level agreements between member firms. He also served on the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants Training Sub Committee, supporting the development of the local profession.
His experience spans Europe, the United Kingdom and Papua New Guinea, working alongside boards, audit committees and executive teams within highly regulated environments.
He is recognised for combining technical rigour with commercial judgement to help organisations strengthen governance, improve decision making and build sustainable capability.
